Wedge and IEM

You can assign strips as the engineer's listen Wedge and IEM (in-ear monitor) providing full fader control and meters.

Press the Wedge or IEM strip Mix key to assign which sources go to which engineer's monitor output.

With Mix selected, hold down the Assign key and press strip Mix keys to toggle the assignment to the monitor, This works by muting the monitor output the source is not assigned to. For example, assign the Aux masters used for the stage wedge monitors to the engineer's Wedge master. This means that the engineer's IEM monitor will mute when a wedge Aux mix PAFL key is pressed. Similarly assign the Aux masters used for the IEM mixes to the engineer's IEM master. It is typical to leave the input channels unassigned so that they appear in both Wedge and IEM engineer's monitors when input PAFL is pressed.

The Template3 Mon Template Show has the mono (wedge) and stereo (IEM) Auxes assigned in this way. To allow any mix to appear in both monitors simply unassign the engineer's Wedge and IEM monitor masters.
